Information Sessions: Thursday, April 3rd in Athens, Ohio and Wednesday,
May 7th in Findlay, Ohio
U.S. Senator George Voinovich and the Small Communities Environmental
Infrastructure Group (SCEIG)
will be holding two informational sessions for community leaders
facing the challenge of developing the infrastructure necessary
for economic competitiveness and improved quality-of-life. The sessions
will highlight resources the SCEIG can provide to help communities
with technical assistance, financing, and planning for their water

Ohio City/County Management Association (OCMA) Winter Conference
Center staff conducted a workshop titled Survey Trends/Results at
the 2008 Ohio City/County Management Association Winter Conference
held in Columbus, Ohio from February 26 - February 28, 2008. The
workshop highlighted recent trends in public sector wages and benefits
based on the results of the annual Southwest Ohio Local Government

Working with Local Officials |
The Center’s primary efforts are directed
toward research and assistance to small/non-metropolitan cities,
villages, townships, and counties. Center projects are initiated
upon request from local governments or by Center staff as an ongoing
program for various local governments in the region and statewide.
